The Alcuin Awards Ceremony 2024

The Alcuin Society and The Arts and Letters Club of Toronto will host a joint Ceremony on October 24th:

 

EVENT

The event opens with an exhibition of the winning books published in 2023 from 5:00 p.m. There is no charge for attending.

There will also be a conversation between Michael Torosian and John Shoesmith of the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, University of Toronto.

As this is a celebration, feel free to invite additional people.

dinner

There is a sit-down dinner which starts 6:30 p.m. Should you wish to attend the dinner, you must reserve your place by Monday, October 21st, by calling 416-597-0223 Extension 2. Please advise if there are any dietary restrictions.

The price of dinner is $39.00 per person.

Location

The Arts & Letters Club is located at 14 Elm Street, Toronto. If you are coming by public transit, the Dundas Subway stop on Line 1 is the closest. Elm Street goes only west from Yonge Street and is two blocks north of Dundas.

There is no parking in the building but there is limited street parking and public underground parking nearby. The Club’s website https://artsandlettersclub.ca/ will provide further details.

The Club building is wheel-chair accessible on all floors.
